Pettus Ford De Soto's Pet Adoption Event: A Heartwarming Success! 

We are absolutely blown away by the incredible support we received during our pet adoption event at De Soto Animal Shelter! Thanks to the generosity of our community, almost all of the pets found their forever homes, and we collected an amazing amount of donations for the shelter. 

A Community That Cares

The dedication we saw was nothing short of inspiring. Families traveled far and wide to open their hearts and homes to these deserving pets. ??

•  Chris Jordan drove all night from South Carolina to adopt sweet June Bug after seeing her on our Facebook page. He knew instantly she was meant to be part of his family. 
• Another family made the trip from Cape Girardeau, determined to give a pet a second chance at life. 
•  16 of the 20 total pets up for adoption found loving homes!

But it wasn’t just those who adopted—so many of you showed up to donate supplies, share encouragement, and help make a difference. It’s moments like these that prove how compassionate and strong our local community truly is.

June Bug’s story is truly special! After seeing her on our Facebook page, Chris Jordan knew she was the perfect fit for his family. Without hesitation, he drove all the way from South Carolina to bring her home.
